CNF Rear Geometry
Pattern Engineering Playbook v2
Engineering notes for Levi's cuts in the Vicente cohort: ease guidelines, tension countermeasures, and manufacturing feedback loops.
Ease Guidelines
| Parameter | Base | Range | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seat ease | 14 mm | 12–16 mm | Upper-seat tension control |
| Thigh ease | 10 mm | 8–12 mm | Side-seam tension control |
| Yoke angle | 18° | 16–20° | Rear curvature support |
| Rise curve | mid | ±0.03 curvature | Projection support |
Cut Engineering Notes
| Cut | Engineering Verdict |
|---|---|
| 501 | Excellent projection and curvature match. Minimal tension. Ideal baseline. |
| 513 | Best comfort–structure balance. Primary recommendation for cohort centroid. |
| 514 | Most stable across poses. Best for cohort stability. |
| 511 | Upper-seat tension risk. Increase seat ease by +1 mm or size up. |
| 541 | Side-seam tension risk. Increase thigh ease by +1 mm and inspect seam allowance. |
Manufacturing Feedback Loops
- CNF webhook → Levi's PLM when tension thresholds are exceeded.
- Seam-stress hotspots trigger automatic pattern revision.
- Return-rate spikes by cut trigger cohort re-evaluation.
- Multi-pose stability failures block batch release.
